    Hello All,

Thought we would do a little introduction so you know a little about who we are.

First, I would like to thank TCMAS for having us a sponsor. Some of the old timers may remember me as "Jeffie" from about 10 years ago when I was the head Curator at the Rainforest Café at the MOA and we held a club meeting there to go over the aquariums and the life support systems they run on. Back then it was Superman (old TCMAS member) and I that fully managed the aquariums. Later after Superman left, I hired Matt ( rihanssu ) to be my assistant. We had a lot of great times back then! It's sad to say that Rainforest Café is nothing like it used to be in it's hayday. When a large coorperation bought out Rainforest Café and took over everything, things really went downhill fast and it was time to move on.

In 2007, I started Underwater Creations, Inc. with the vision of wanting to create amazing custom aquariums in peoples homes and business. There were a few other local companies in the aquarium business then, but none were doing what I had envisioned in my mind and set out to do. I really wanted to do something that was different and unique. I really wanted to work with high end clients that only wanted the best and that is what we set out to do.

Last year Angie posted up a thread saying that TCMAS needed sponsors. I messaged Angie right away and said that I would silent sponsor as I wanted to help out TCMAS.

Fast forward to today - This year I thought it would be a good idea to have our own forum so we could showcase some of builds. We have about 10 high end builds going on at the moment. Many that are going to be in the parade of homes and featured in some rather large publications. We have been fortunate enough to build a great name for ourselves and are now finding ourselves collaborating with some of the biggest home designers and building companies in the Twin Cities. It's truly an exciting time for us.

As of right now, we are about 7 days away from launching our new website. Everything you see on our old site is about 5 years old. We will have a lot of new stuff to share in the coming months.

If you want to check out our old website, you can here - www.uwcmn.com

If you want to follow us on facebook to see newer builds, you can here - https://www.facebook.com/UnderwaterCreationsInc

Anyways, just wanted to give a little bio and say hi and thanks to TCMAS. If you have any questions for us, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,
    Jeff Jacobson

Welcome and thanks for sponsoring! The RFC behind the scenes event has long been one of my favorite TCMAS events. Glad to hear you're reinvested into this great hobby and finding success in doing so. Can't wait to see some of the builds, and just might do some parade of homes hopping to see some in person if they're local. :)

Thanks! Honestly I have no idea where Mr. Matt is these days. He's probably got his hands full with all those kids!

Thanks! That meeting and the meetings back then in general were just awesome. It's too bad a lot of the old timers aren't around anymore. When the parade of homes tour starts, I'll make a post with the addresses where you can go and see the tanks.

I remember ordering the Chicken Fried Steak and it was not the greatest. If things have gone down hill it must now be one step up from dog food.

I got a good laugh from that David! Definitely not the place to order chicken fried steak. Now the Jambalaya on the other hand.... was delicious!

My wife is anxiously awaiting! She loves parade of homes. I got tired of it and we haven't gone in years. If I have a number of tank homes mapped out, I will endure it. My wife says to tell you, "thanks!"

Did I miss the thread/info on which houses are displaying your tanks?
