Ritteri/Magnificent Anemone (1 Viewer)

Hard to get a good one. If you do it needs good light, good water and good flow to keep it alive. Check out some of the threads over on Reef Central for more info.

Can be beautiful nems, hard to keep alive in captivity outside of huge systems.

+1 on the hard to keep alive. Can be doing well for 3 or 4 months then just die over night.

Bummer well seems to be the consensus "Beautiful, but hard to keep alive for long".

Oh well!

There have been a number of people over on RC that have had success keeping them, but it seems like all too many to the way of the Dodo bird.....This is one of the items that falls into the "If you are asking about it then no matter how much research you try to do you don't know enough to keep" category for me. It's a shame because they are quite beautiful, I'd love one, but alas I'll enjoy pictures instead.

BTW that's the species of nem that was featured in finding nemo as their home! Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Water must be clear and clean for this one. I see some people able to keep them alive for about a year. I think it is because of keep water quality up in a small system is tought. Sooner or later your system crash and kill it.
