Looks awesome man! I do agree the 400watt Radiums would have been awesome! Plus you would not need to worry so much on the T5's and LED's.

Looks great Anurag, if you are planning on Glue rocks together *Depending* on how big I would use the "Gel" type which I can get by the pound for aquascaping.

Ray, i will let you know about glue, I am thinking of finish up the lighting set up and few more things before I start working on glueing rocks.

Really looks like its coming together quickly and looking great. Rodding the rock would be the best way to do it though. Glue would work but its a pain to get them to stay just right.

after many changes in thoughts, I considered Radiums. I will be running 2 250watts Radium both ends and in the center 400watts.
I am currently running this setting on my tank and looks gr8.
below is the short video with both watts light on. as of now I didn't change the extreme right side bulb so it's dark on the right corner.

Radiums are awesome bulbs! You wont be worry with them. I do also have them listed on bulbs I can get for you on the site. Tank is looking awesome man keep up the good work! :beerchug:

Ok...tank is running fine and live stock is doing great. I realised yesterday that my skimmer is kinda screaming and giving me liters of black stuff. apart from that, I still see little blackish water in my tank and some kind of black layer on my corals as well, is that normal ? I do change 25 gallon water change every two weeks.

Since I have big bio load, I am thinking of going with Alfa 250.

What you all say ? should I go with Alfa 200 or 250. I checked and alfa 300 wouldn't fit underneath the stand.

I was using Tap water from past two months, today I started RO/DI unit. Went to SWE and bought TDS meter. I will try to get the PPM reading before and after membrane.

I have few question and need suggestions:

after membrane I am getting oo3 PPM (isn't that suppose to be "0")
after DI the reading changed to 000.
Sediment filter is already brown in color, is that normal ?

I bought this unit brand new and started today only, so far I filled little over half of 50 gal trashcan in 6 hours.

I started the vertex 250 couple days ago and added two 7" 200 micron socks. Output, my water is crystal clear. it feels like there is no water behind the glass and fishes are flying in the Air :gay1:

the only concern I have, am i over skimming the water ?
