There are things like Prodibio and Stability that you can add to jump start the cycle if you want.
If you had ammonia of 1 yesterday, why are you adding fish and corals today?
From my understanding, you're supposed to wait until ammonia and nitrites were at zero, then do a huge water change, then add livestock.

Aye, the ammonia spike is part of the cycle, should wait until it drops back to 0. Generally takes about a month for a "full" cycle. Is the new livestock having labored breathing?

Also, I'm curious who will accept used pumps back as a return. I always thought if you used them they were yours (unless they failed or something).
