AI was world class, and sent me a new logic board the next day. :beerchug:

Saw this set-up the other nigth and it is very impressive :goldfish:

Thanks Tim for the info and showing me your tank and fishroom.

A long awaited update. I figured I should take some pictures before I tear it all down to move.

How are you going to move the stand?

I've gotten bids from two moving companies, and both can move the tank/stand/sump/rock/etc/etc/etc for me with the rest of my furniture. I will move the livestock ahead of time and put it into a holding system at the new house.

I will need to tear out the door at the top of my stairs, though...it won't fit without doing that.

it was a stressful just moving my 28 and 75 gallon systems I can't imagine the worries would have had moving something that big on your own, smart move hiring someone else to do the heavy lifting and hauling!! I know if/when I ever move my 180 I'll be looking for a company to do it for me too.

i just went through this whole build again and what a fantastic job was done with that stand, canopy and tank overall. I'm attempting to build my own stand and canopy right now and I'm not going to get any where near that quality lol

I had never built anything except plywood and 2x4 shelves before this project. Just find lots of examples on the Interwebs and follow their pictures. That's what I did.

Standard Marineland Megaflow kits. 1" durso drains and 3/4 returns.

Move went awful, to be honest. Next time I move, I will sell off all of the coral and just move the fish. I lost 80% of my coral due to problems with my temporary holding setup, and lost a few fish. I made some mistakes, which didn't help, and being an hour away from the holding facility, I didn't stop and check on stuff every day. That led to losses which I could have prevented.

Live and learn, right?

Oh yeah. Once the tank moved to the new house, and I put everything back in, it has been fine. All the losses happened the 45 days things were in temporary holding.

+1 iam also interested to see how the 55 fuge worked out? did it reduce sludge in your skimmer to a noticeable amount?

Well, not sure what you mean. I had a 75 gallon fuge that I took out when I moved. I also don't run a skimmer anymore. I'm just running an ATS and a small amount of GFO.
