Brian, Where did you find those shelf rock pieces at? I've been keeping my eye open for those!

Is there any pattern to the light layout? Tapped? or is it the epoxy?

Nice layout. I'm assuming the 3 chip clusters are your RGB leds for color effect? That should prevent any disco-ing quite well.

Any plans for additional fans or other active cooling?

Whites are some what surrounded by royal blues.

The clusters of three are the red, green, blues.

Violets are just evenly spaced.

Leds are epoxied with Arctic silver.

Thanks!

Yes, clusters are RGB.

I will run fans. Heatsink is 10" wide. Thinking about getting a couple 220 mm fans...

That led lay out looks great! I wish I would have set my leds up like that, I feel like I get uneven intensities across the tank

I have made all of my LED fixtures with a grid layout and have been very happy with the consistency.

The heat is also better distributed.

Didn't realize you put so much time into the controller side. How did you get the drivers and power source to come out cheaper than some meanwell drivers? I saw about $10-12 per channel and $60-$80 for the power source, which was about the same shipped to my door as mean-well. Do you do any sort of sunrise/sunset left to right effect? That's one reason I started with so many channels and have since decided it wasn't worth it.

What type of rock did you get for the shelves?

The controllers I use are from work. We produce them, they have 8 outputs and I get them for free. :)

The shelves are BRS shelf rock.

All live stock is transferred from the 28 to the 75.

I gave Shibbs back up frags
Hopefully it's like an extended warranty: If you buy it, you'll never need it. If you don't, you'll wish you had it.

Coming along real nice Brian, looking forward to seeing the update with the lights on. Are some of those LEDs the ones I sold ya?

I have finished the led fixture but need to take pictures with my good camera.

We have not lost any live stock(knock on wood)!! So the transfer went awesome!

We picked up cbwater's flame hawk and it has great color and personality.

The damsel we used to cycle is still alive and it was pretty calm and fairly pretty but in the last few days it has started to get aggressive so I think I need to go fishing.

My garage is still full of stuff from our move. I literally cannot walk through it. We will have a storage shed soon so I can claim my shed back. This will allow me to start work on finishing the stand and building my canopy.
