aquarium lighting

Hi all, I got a Coralife t5 dual output lamp fixture for what was intended to be a reef aquarium. Unfortunately, the corals did horribly, and I also don't think the tank looks very aesthetically pleasing, which I believe may be due to insufficient lighting. Does anyone have any economical...
