bleached acan

I was give this Acan in very poor shape over a year ago. In that time it has grown and made a nice recovery tissue wise, except for being completely bleached. At times new growth will have some color but that never last for long. Any thoughts or advice? CA 420 Alk 9 PH 8-8.3 1.026
