drain

Has anyone ever turned the return pipe in a corner overflow box in to a 2nd drain? Ran 2 drains at the same time and done the returns a diffevent way. Will this work to get more flow? Will it be too much flow to one sump section at any given time? Will it be extremely loud?

Can anyone shoot some links with some advice/how to on herbie style drains. I have previously only used durso and will be setting up a new dual overflow tank in the near future but unsure as to exactly how they are. I know there is a straight standing pipe and a drain ( usually emergency drain...
