feather duster

My brand new feather duster looks like he got pretty beat up today. Somehow he has been removed from his tube. Is he a goner? Should I try to tuck him back in his tube or let him try to start over? :lookaround:

I just bought a two feather duster worms from petco, I have a singapore vermiculated angelfish that seems to nip at them. Will the angelfish kill them from stress or eat them? So, I'm thinking I should move the angel to another tank, in this other tank there is a black spotted dogface pufferfish...
