Upgrading from a 70 gallon to 180. It's been a slow lengthy process which is fine with me. First I removed a built in stand that held an old TV and then held the 70 gallon and had a stand custom built. Acquired the sump from a fellow reefer. Replaced the skimmer in the pic with an Octopus 3000 INT. Auto top-off up and working. Figuring out the Apex system and still messing with the rock, but it's a good start.

Are there 5 chambers in the sump? It's kind of hard to tell. And, what are you planning for each?

Looking good so far! Will be fun to see what that rock tower turns into.

Yes there are 5. I plan on putting in some cheato - need some pods for some fish I would like to add later down the line. All of the chambers will be filled after that. Filter socks, skimmer, fuge and a small space where the thermometer is and then the return pump.
