Anyone have any experience with two little fishies, salt and how clean it mixes??

Dang, all I’ve ever seen is the 50g packs that were $$ but the big one makes 180g at 1.026 which makes it slightly cheaper than blue bucket. Jake mentioned it once on ReefBuilders but otherswise I’ve not heard anyone using it unfortunately.

Was mainly looking at because I need to store in an unheated space so ESV is likely not my go to as a result. I never tested how the containers hold up after freezing. I know they'd go lower than 32 degrees but probably freeze solid below zero and not sure I want containers popping.

I’ve had Ace Roto mold containers freeze at work and not give out but this was not for an extended time. Chemicals also freeze differently than water.

Ya this is just the pre mix in the jugs. I asked them how they hold up but they didn't have any experience to say either way. I'd likely be fine but would be an expensive mistake if not.

Can you figure out the salt concentration of the premix, or ask them? I would think its pretty high so the freezing point would be pretty low. Also storing them on the floor/ground and covering them would help keep them slightly warmer.

The liquid components are trace elements so hard to say. I could certainly test the specific gravity for an idea.

*and put in my freezer.

Maybe I’m not understanding, are you talking about the ESV or the TLF?
