Since I have turned the AC on and closed the windows, my ph has dropped about 15 pts. Seem about right?

I've got to figure out my skimmer's fresh air intake. I have it right to my outside wall and it is nearly ineffective. I must have a leak somewhere...

Yep.... guess which day we closed the windows and turned the AC on due to my wifes fear of temps over 80 degrees.

Is the skimmer being starved of air? Not enough to prohibit working be enough to matter? Save basic dynamics work on air flow restoration as water from what I'm told so a small line run too long, lots of angles, etc. reduces airflow.

Alternative theory... your skimmer (by air volume) still can't out compete the waters surface area.

My best run yet! The two big drops are a 10th of a point.

How do you guys get it so high? Opening windows don't do much for me. I might have to get some co2 media.

There's a few different methods, mine and Reef King as I recall both use kalk dripped in the ato or through a pH controlled dosing.
