Been using Brightwell's coral amino for a few months now and seem to have some positive results. I need to buy more amino and am wondering if I would get similar results with acro power as it's quite a bit cheaper. Any thoughts??

It looks like coral amino is about twice as concentrated based on recommended dosing but even so acropower seems to be cheaper.

I've used both. Acropower is more diluted. I dose a four drops of brightwell vs a few ml of acropower.

If you are looking to put aminos on a doser, I'd use acropower as it is easier accurately dose ml vs drops. If manually dosing, then I find brightwell more convenient and a better value.

I currently use both on alternating days and like the results. I am dosing manually but plan to use acropower on doser for new build I'm doing. I have also read people adding coral amino to their ATO.

I thought I read adding to the ATO would cause the amino to start breaking down.

I have no verification for this being factual or not.

Good question. I did not see that mentioned as an issue.

I tried amino acids in my AWC, but got a stinky bacterial bloom in my salt water bin. I stopped that pretty quickly.

Gonna stick with manual dosing for now... if I miss a dose here and there no biggie ;) Got some acropower on order so we'll see if there's a difference.
