    I inadvertently test it every day when I feed my fish and put the apex into feed mode. Still kicking as of today. Tomorrow could be a different story.

    Is the battery in it not replaceable?

    I think they are. I don’t think you get them from Ecotech, but I think you can replace the core parts you need.

    I am not the most handy but I replaced the dead battery from my ecotech battery back with a $35 dollar battery I found on Amazon. Works great today (knock on wood). If I find the link to the instructions I used, I will post it here.

    Actually, found a YouTube video that shows how to do it. Thanks for the idea

    Did you rivet them back or use the screws?

    Screws. Those rivets were a terrible design.
