    Fellow Reefers and hoho,

I don’t like personally endorsing products. However, tonight I am endorsing the product Coral Amino by Brightwell Aquatics. I have been testing this product for a couple months now through various testing methodology. My conclusion is that this amino acid should be used by every sps hobbyist. Buy the 250ml as it’s the best value.

My sps corals love it! Some of my most challenging acros have awaken!

    Regards
    Reefking

What have you noticed since starting to use it?

What do you normally keep your alk/no3/po4 levels at?

There is no doubt this is a viagra for polyp extension. I have had a raspberry limeade for probably a good 2 years, and it hasn’t grown much and the colors were never great. This acro is now coloring up and growing. I am convinced that this amino acid product woke it up. My algae has not gone crazy either, which is a win.

I do a 30 percent water change weekly...

Do you keep your NO3/PO4 levels pretty low normally?

I try to keep my alk around 8.5, but my PO4 is 0.14 ppm and my NO3 is usually around 10. I don't know if aminos would help me, but they seem to do wonders for tanks with lower N/P levels.

I have 6 corals lol, I have been dosing Coralamino acid for 1 week now.
My observations are: zoas colored up, nepthea plumped up with better polyp extension and my chalice hasn't changed that I've noticed.
Zoas seem to be getting bigger, time to frag them this weekend.
I have no reason to stop using it, everything seems happy.
like reefking said it's like viagra, my nepthea was a sad deflated lil guy until I started using, now plump fella with good pe

I have been using Aquavitro Fuel for about 2 years and it's the only thing I dose. Amino acids are a must have.

Now you come forward. I am still waiting for mr flounder to reveal his secret sauce. I don’t buy it that he puts honey into his tank.

Mr Flounder posted a rather unfortunate RTN disaster on Instagram...

SPS happened... beyond that didn't sound like there was anything specific that could be targeted.

Looked like a few colonies at least based on a photo of the skeletons on a shelf.

These types of colony wipe outs scare me to death. Assume there is a Flounder farmer in almost every state, and if this happens over time, then certain aquacultured corals are going to become more rare and expensive over time. Hopefully, he had several frags of these lost sps colonies and can regrow them...

I would be curious if he has a theory what caused the Rtn. I blame my rtn breakouts on temp issue within my tank, but you really never know.

It's probably the single greatest leap in understanding we still need to discover... particularly when there is seemingly no obvious reason.

I started dosing amino a couple weeks ago but I can't say I'm consistent. Maybe 2-3 times a week.
