Anyone know their crabs? Caught this guy today. Smaller than a dime. Is he porcelain or is he bad?

Looks like a porcelain crab aka anemone crab. Great filter feeders and one of my favs.

There were a couple that came in on my live rock that made it in the tank. So I just want to be sure. Looks like a porcelain crab to me.

nice. as much as people frown on hitchhikers, I find it one of my favorite parts of setting up a new tank. I like when I can stare at my rock during the first cycle and see what life starts coming out at night. I have never gotten much other than brittle stars, bristle works and sponges but I have a seen posts of people getting all kinds of cool stuff. I remember a post were a guy got a baby octopus.

Salty bottom's rock is really nice. Couple snails and hermits. Limpets. 3 or 4 kinds of good crabs in tank. 1 mantis and a few black claw crabs and fuzzy all which are alligator food. Lots of sponges. 6 or 7 different kinds of tunicates/sea squirts. Also a couple hard corals and a bunch of different Macro algea. Feather duster worms.
