    Hey all,

The past 3-4 days I’ve noticed my Duncan has been acting a bit strange and not opening completely. Checked the water parameters twice now and nothing seems to be off. I have however started dosing with some aquavitro Ca and ions. Was wondering if that or possibly the lighting situation could be causing this. The Duncan is almost exactly in the middle of the water column in my 32 gallon bio cube, and I will attach my lighting schedule below. Thanks!

How long has the lights been at this schedule?
How long have you had the Duncan?
Any other changes in the last 39 days... placement, additions, breakouts, changes or missed maintenance?

I did move it to its current location a little over 3 weeks ago, as well as upgrading from the biocube hood to the prime hd about the same time. It’s been in the tank for over two years now but hasn’t been in the same location of the tank due to moving and a tank makeover.

Nothing is jumping off the page for me... did you do a light acclimation mode or anything of the sort?
    Any other corals acting funny?
Is the flow notably different in the new spot?

Do you powerheads need cleaning? It might be reduced flow. Or the light could be much stronger than your previous ones and they need to adapt. You could try reducing light levels for a few days to see what happens. If it responds, then do acclimation mode.
Frankly, it could just be from the change. It is said what you changed the wells ago will reflect in your corals today.
They still look pretty good to me. I'm basing my suggestions on the fact that you say they don't look as good as they did.

I dropped the light level a bit and hopefully that will help. But probably should just be patient and see what happens in the long run!
