    Finally a new form factor.

Looks like they are going with more of the Phillips coralcare larger grid for diffuse light and then a few brighter leds to get shimmer. But that’s just based off 2 partial images.

They totally made it for their new mobius platform.

I’m not in the market for any new lights but it’s always cool to see new products coming out. Neptune even dropped hints at new products during their let’s talk reef as well as needing new NSI testers for those unannounced products.

I do question if EcoTech is going to continue support for the Radion Gen5 ability to connect to the WXM module for Apex since they never added support for the Vectra pumps. Curious about this for whenever the next generation of MP pumps is released as well.

with the push to their new Mobius (control) platform, it is unlikely.

I'd expect things like water level sensors, flow meters, etc to be added to the Mobius platform in the coming years.

Pick your aquarium control ecosystem everyone!

I'm perfectly fine with drinking the kool-aid of a single platform when it makes sense, Apple being a good example. I'm not necessarily sure aquarium gear is one of those scenarios though. I like to have as much as possible Apex controllable, but I don't want the industry to reach a point where Neptune Systems, EcoTech, etc. gear all only works within their ecosystem or as completely separate stand alone components.

The real question is how much do you think it will cost... to actually run out of the box? (lights, adapters, diffusers, mounting arms, tax, etc.)
    I bet $1,100 per light.

Hopefully their mobius app is going to be a massive leap forward from the current as well as the reef link... and their site in general.

Granted it wouldn't take much to improve over the current versions.

I think it's the same price structure as their current lights. But yeah - form factor is different, so you need all new hardware.
