Soft Coral Contest Green Polyp Toadstool

    Green polyp toadstool
    1/2" round plug
    Purchased Jan 4th from New Wave Aquaria
    Photos from Jan 5th around 7pm during a normal lighting schedule.
    Google Pixel 3 XL, Night Shot mode, no edits
    Glass status: not cleaned

    The coral is glued to a rock in the front corner of the tank. One pic from front panel, one from the adjacent side pane.

    it's not having a very good day. It has proven to be a bad spot in the tank due to the flow pattern. Since this is over now, I'll be moving it to more cover away from flow. it opens more than today's pictures, should have taken them yesterday when the flow was off for a water change.

    Well the stalk appears to be about the size of the entire coral in the first one.
