Golden Pufferfish! How many times do I need to say it? ;) Coolest fish ever! He will let you pet him and lift him from under his belly. You will be happy with any fish you put in there I'm sure. Now just get them in there so your rehab can start.

P.S. Side note...totally unrelated..highjacking your thread ;) My big ruby headed wrasse always comes to break the surface to eat...It just started letting me pet it yesterday.

Depending on the number of fish you're looking to add, you can find quite a few colorful fish for a 37gal.

The first group of fish that pop into my head are the dwarf angelfishes. They have lots of color, don't bother mobile inverts and are always out and about.
From there I always go to my main stand-by; gobies and blennies. They're very passive and can have personalities, but they tend to stay in their comfort zones so you'll likely be looking for them.
Otherwise there's a lot of good choices from the basslets, dartfishes and other smaller species. Some of the smaller flasher wrasses would also be a good choice. And you always have the clownfish...

Check out these threads for more input from people...

Since it's a fish only are you going to medicate the tank or possibly just add some freebie corals like xenia?
