Anyone have a preference on one or the other?

I sent off both and got varied results to the extent that I was taken back.

One example is bromine is high on ICP-Analysis.com and low on trident.

Both "show" strontium low, within 0.5 ppm of each other, however ICP-Analysis on their app says it's high and to do immediate water changes. Huh?

On their site it states it much clearer and what I'd expect.

ICP-Analysis has some major flaws in their app but it's also old enough since rollout I would have expected updates to the errors. They also currently have three distinctly separate logins... site for test results, site for orders, and app has its own as well.

I've got several of the tests so I'll continue using them but only go through the site...

    *ICP-Analysis.com is coralvue

I've read a few posts at R2R about people having odd readings from Triton's ICP tests. I'm not sure that I've read anything recently about them having large discrepancies. I'm sending off my own ICP test from Coralvue (I think that's icp-analysis, right?) so I'll let you know what my numbers look like.

I have two Triton kits but I have not used any ICP type test before. Do you usually just test your tank water, your fresh water or both? Do you test on a cycle or only when you are seeing some sort of issue?

Mail in a tank water sample, some offer an RO or tap water test with it. Some do only when there is a problem or can't figure it out while others have made it more of a quarterly/semi annual routine.

I could see a quarterly cycle being a good idea so you can see trends and better understand when something is out of the ordinary.
