Most reports last year said this wouldn't be possible for years due to the loss of companies but apparently a few limped along and stayed in business.

You may have seen the Facebook video I posted to TCMAS... that was from the government inspections in December before approvals were dolled out.

@Jennifer Wanner told me they were one of the few that will be the first to import from Bali. Exciting news, congrats New Wave!

A large influx of supply should hopefully bring down prices overall, and especially torches and other Indo specific strains. My wallet is ready.

With the limited importers (10 for the US), Indo/Bali having not had a revenue stream for a couple of years, and several exporters shuttering - I wouldn't hold my breath about that one. :)

Euphyllia in general are crazy expensive at retail. Agreed though that torches are at the top of the pile though

Lol even with increased supply, its unlikely the price will go down much. Similar to how everything got more expensive when gas was $4-5 a gallon, but after gas went down the prices didnt!

Hopefully though this puts pressure on other fisheries roped into the fraudulent scientific paper buzz to wake up and give those fisheries not doing it right a chance to. Not to mention letting those doing it right to keep doing it or get back in.

Hawaii is under a lot of pressure now from following falsified reports.

The club should register as a buyer with a few of the importers and then we can as a group place a monthly order and split it up among members for close to wholesale pricing

Based on what I read I really doubt the prices are going to go down much if at all. Have you ever seen prices on anything go down? It's the American way to keep increasing.
