Has anyone else seen this? I think its about time someone tried to make one of these. I had a DIY one for years but it was bulky and ugly. This would really help me out when i am gone for work or vacations. I think i would thaw, rinse and combine my food ahead of time then re freeze it into the carousel. I hate having to rely on house sitters to get the feeding right.

I just did this morning. Watched his video explaining how it works. I’d gamble $200 on that but hesitant to do a kickstarter item that involves electricity on top of my reef. I’d rather shell out double once it demonstrates some safety and reliability.

Looks cool. I want to see more detail about the “dock” option they offer for remote placement of the unit though.

Glad they included at least 0-10v controllability so that it can be tied into an apex

It's so small, or I'd be in.

Did you see the xl option for double capacity?

Admittedly still doesn’t hold tons though

I feed 4 cubes a day, even at double capacity I'd be SOL in 4 days. :)

Though that's probably enough for a short vacation!

A great idea for sure. I typically feed pellets via auto feeders when I"m not around so no need for this. People have been DIYing little freezers for quite a while but this guy made it into a product. It looks like a nice design too.

I think what I would do is buy more carousels and have them pre filled in the freezer then my house sitter could change out carousels every couple of days

The guy who made this is a member of a couple FB groups I am apart of and he has constant upgrades and new features. He seems really passionate about his project.

OMG Feed less...??? I don't think that is possible. Fish are supposed to be as wide and they are tall, right?

I have actually been thinking about designing one of these. I only feed frozen and would like to be able to do so twice daily. Since I work long hours I can only feed every 24 hours. I think I might back this.

Yeah - it doesn't look overly complicated, peltier cooler, stepper motor and a hopper. Glad someone is finally making one.

They are looking for a few more beta testers, if anyone is interested.
