No chance for me to win in this category but it was an easy one for pics.

Since everything not going good with my tank right now I figured I better get the 1 month shot in before total failure.

So, after checking everything I have control over and still losing the battle with stn on my sps, I decided all or nothing and dosed the entire tank with antibacterial meds(gram positive and gram negative). This may have been a bad idea but I was losing them all anyway. The meds turned the water yellow, when treatment was done I did a large water change and added carbon. Not even thinking about the week of very yellow water, the next day everything bleached, tissue still there but colors all very faint and pastel.i guess in the worst case outcome I will have plenty of media for my next calcium reactor refill.

At this point it is the waiting game to see what comes back and what doesn't but in the spirit of the contest, knowing even if it did recover there's no chance at great growth.

    here's my 2 month pic.

Beyond sad but all the sps were going anyway, had to try vs don't nothing. At least with faded tissue, there is still a chance of it coming back vs tissue loss.

True. It seems like a lot of people had some issues with SPS this winter. Maybe there is a seasonal component to it (or we all get lazy at the same time).
