On a standard frag plug, glued to a 2 inch frag tile. final location will be different as I will be moving the tankbetween now and then. Im willing to play just for fun if that disqualifies me

I think as long as you make a reasonable effort you will be fine.

The left hand side where it hasnt grown over the tile is where it was stung. A Frag of rhodactis mushrooms got pushed on top of the chalice and ate away ~1/4 of it on the left. It healed over that area in about 1.5 weeks or so and is growing again.

As for what Im doing, not really anything. I barely remember to feed the fish most days. I do have a trident keeping alk/cal/mag in check using ATI Essentials Pro for dosing. 2B+ bulbs and 2 Coral plus bulbs in my aurora hybrid and leds at around 80% peak i think. Water changes once a month if im lucky. All of my chalices are almost constantly growing at a crazy rate in this tank. Ill try and get some pics of the other ones

Just keeps on growing this guy. Completely covered the 2x2 square, and has started growing over the side and out.

I glued on another square so it could keep growing on something lol

Thank you! I think this is the fastest growing coral in my tank, outside of maybe the purple stylo

    Welp I'm outta the contest.

This chalice among most of the other coral has passed/is passing with the move to the new house.

A large portion of the losses are my fault. And bad timing.

No way! That's a bummer. I've been admiring that coral for a while.

I'd keep it around a month or more tucked in a corner of the tank and see if it might come back.

Honestly it was one of my favorites. I will likely replace it someday.
