I've got a chocolate chip and i've had him for about a year and when i got him he was 4-5 inches across his body and now he is about 3-4 across, looks like he is getting smaller. He's in a 75 fowlr tank with a little bit a hair algea on some of the rock.
Do they make any speicial food for him or what would be best to feed him?

huh!? what is everyone talking about?

give that starfish a big chunk of krill or silverside and put the food between the glass and the starfish. hold him there for a min so his feet have time to grab the glass. the starfish will remain there for hours digesting the food and you get to see every second of it!

uh... yeah. What Chad said. Or even cheaper food would be a big bag of unbreaded table shrimp (the kind people eat). Cut a piece about the size of a "popcorn" shrimp and feed the way that chad was mentioning.

The CC Star I had for awhile would eat shrimp pellets. He'd also eat the nori right off the clip. they will basically eat anything they can get their hands on including tank inhabitants and corals... Just keep on feeding it and it will remain happy. Mine was almost 6" wide when I gave it away.
