The lights from the lighting study donated to TCMAS were possibly stolen...

The Philips Coral Care Gen 2 and ReefBreeders PhotonV2 both appear to have been stolen or lost by UPS. If anyone sees them show up online (particularly the Philips in GA as it's not even on the market) please message me asap.

Full disclosure, I had mentioned to Dana after he received these lights that he's welcome to hang onto them but declined.

Once the test was done I sent him the UPS labels to ship back to our club and use as a fundraiser this fall. He then personally handed them to the UPS driver who ultimately never scanned them. They were also never scanned at the facility and it's been over a week.

Unfortunately UPS has been rather difficult to deal with as a result of Covid-19 and there is still a small chance they are sitting on a loading dock or similar but they won't allow us to contact the facility. We filed a claim/investigation so who knows how much effort goes into that. Will keep fingers crossed and hope it's just an accident.

I do not want to cast blame on the driver not knowing how many ways this could happen and hopefully putting this in the universe causes them to turn up.

If someone works for UPS and has any advice or can help please message me.

To say I'm frustrated is an understatement... I've worked on this project for months.

Have you shared this on the TCMAS social media accounts?
Broadcasting this information to a much wider audience may assist in coming to a resolution sooner.
The boys at RNN just had an episode detailing the Philips light and they're very good friends with Logan.

Good news travels fast, Doug saw our Facebook post and for some reason the Reefbreeder light ended up back in their hands. Perhaps a parcode was left on the package before mailing?

Either way great news! I left a message for Philips to see if by some chance the same thing happened.

Well thankfully one tip lead to tracking down both lights!

Jeff from CoralVue sent me this.
"I received an email from headquarters yesterday morning that a mystery light was delivered. "We got a single CoralCare light sent back to us, but it does not have a label on it for us to be able to identify who sent it." I thought it was a unit we were swapping out for a beta tester.

You are a glorious human being and made my day!

UPS I will say was good to work with and thankful putting this out there helped connect the dots. We are in your debt (again) Jeff.
