Hibachi buffet near Northtown mall has an all white arowana!
That is actually an arowana... best buffet on the whole planet though!
It is an arowana, not a gar but cool either way! Check out this one!
Ooops dont know my fw fishes
It is an impressive tank, anybody know how big it is? I want to say I read it was a 600, but I could be making that up... :biglaugh2:
Didn't see any mention of the tank on their website
Anyone remember this thread......?
I did not know that was the tank that was suppose to go into the hibachi buffet lol.
Yup - that's the one - or the original one I should say :biglaugh2:
What are you doing surfing - your supposed to be helping Ted build a stand ya slacker!
He's at Menards but I'll send you pics later when we put it together.
Oh, wow. It looks a lot better than it did a year ago.
If you don't remember...
Hahaha, I judge water volume like I bid jobs it seems... :grr: :mad_3: :biglaugh2:
Thanks for the link, interesting backstory.
I love Arowanas! Wish I had a tank big enough :/
Looks like an awesome buffet.
Osaka in coon rapids has a nice tank with a large arowana and a couple of 4 inch arowana's that were added recently. I had a number of arowana's in the past. Cool fish. In the wild these fish will jump of the water and grab bugs/food off tree branches hanging over rivers. Amazing fish. I am sure you can find some videos on youtube showing this. The are jumpers and I used to keep something heavy on the cover of the tank so it didn't knock the cover off and then jump.
Thanks for the compliments. It has been an awesome tank to work on and put together. Sourcing the fish for this tank was the best part and now watching them grow over the last year or so has been a blast. The Arowana is my favorite
If that is a platinum arowana it is extremely rare. Jeffie- can you get me that same color in a florida gar?
That thing was $85,000?!
Possibly the tank with shipping from Japan-not the fish.
It' not a platinum. Just a standard silver arowana. I'll check into the gar for you.
What do they feed this fish?
