is it common for Trochus Snails to reproduce in your tank? I have noticed a couple new ones. One about the size of a pea another the size of an M&M.

Yep! My office tank is becoming a snail factory. When snails had gotten big enough, I moved them into my 120gal.
Sometimes I have found that if I do a water change with water that has a slightly elevated temp, it induces the spawning behavior.

Trochus snails always seem to breed in all of my tanks, no matter how large or small.

well, i havent bought snails for my tank the past 5 years. i started with 100 of them, i think i still have about 100 in my display and 30 in my frag tank. i cleaned out 15-20 snails shell every time I do a siphon in my display/frag tank. my tunze pumps kill the snails, and my shrimps clean them up. I have a melanurus wrasse in my frag tank, that I haven't feed over 2 years now. i think he needs to join the biggest loser now.

I sold several hundred a couple of years ago at the swap. Before I added a wrasse to my tank I had babies everywhere. Now I still get some that survive, but really only enough to replace the ones that die from old age.

    Am I a Breeder then?

Mr. Vossen, rhymes with awesome, I will let you decide that.

Anyway, if anybody wants some of my tank raised snails, I am interested in some trades. I have seen (spelling doesn’t count on these because I am too lazy to look them up):
    Joculator angel
    Conspic angel
    Blotched anthia

Open to others. Please let me know and be prepared to throw in some cash, these are cute little critters
