Dose anyone have any info or heard of uv bonding glass for aquarium use?

Can you explain UV Bonding glass? We have a member that goes by "borgy" if I remember right, that has a friend who owns a glass shop.He made me up six pieces of tempered glass for my HQI halides at a great price.

... using polymer glue that requires UV light to cure? Way too little information.

Was just wondering if the uv bonding is a strong enough bond to hold a larger aquarium together I was talking to a glass guy and he told me that he would make me a tank and use uv bonding instead of silicone and I was wondering if that would work. Not sure what kind of glass bonding glue he was planing on using.

tried looking up some info but Im to computer dumb to find any good info

I've never heard of it so I did some searching too.

2. Do not use UV glue to secure any object that will be exposed to a lot of water. Water will degrade the adhesive strength of the glue over time, causing the bond to fall apart. So don't use UV glue on your aquarium (use silicone for that) unless you enjoy vacuuming water out of your carpet.

thanks, wonder if you could bond and silicone the inside and not degrade the bond

My wife would love to have to redo the basement again after a huge flood, I think I would need to find a new place to live:gay1:
