HI, I am a Newbie to TCMAS. I've had a tank for several yers, but only became serious about reefkeeping recently when I had to teardown my tank for the hair alge it accumulated. Now I want to learn how to keep my coral and fish happy and growing. I live on the west side of St. Paul close to Hwy 94 and Hwy 52. Any mentors out there in the area would be appreciated.

hammer you are always welcome to bounce ideas off of us (unless we are slammed of course). Wednesdays are our slowest. Lunch is the most packed/project filled most days (till about 2:30).

Bring a picture if you can. At least with me, visuals help a lot. Talking about system ideas is the fun part of our day. :beerchug:

Wow! How did we never see this article before?!

We've been reading TCMAS for a while but we'd be up for a mentor. We're not confident we're set up right and honestly we're frustrated with our tank and all.... Nothing is dying...but nothing thrives (well...algae) and we could use some good tips. Anyone open to taking us on?
