yes more flow is to help for sure. since you dont have any corals yet you can cut back your lighting. this helped my tank alot. i even went two days with no lights on at all. i had a few toads and some cloves and did not hurt them at all.

Hey fellers, i want to start up a 15-20 gal. long tank. I very new to this hobby so i don't know where to start. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello. I'm Ryan and I live in St. Cloud. Just joined the club at the last frag swap. I'm basically new to the hobby. I have a 75 gallon tank that is about a month and a half new. Anyone willing to help out would be great. Do need a bigger protein skimmer(current one too small) if anyone happens to see one for sale. In the process of building a sump(first time) so would like to put the skimmer in there. Seems like a work to feed my new hobby and dont regret it one bit. Hope to talk to you all soon!

~Ryan

P.S. Please thank Chad Vossen for introducing me to the club! He gets a star to put on one of his many tanks.
Please feel free to contact me for anything. 320-267-2698. Cause of work texts work the best.

I'm only 7months old in Reef keeping but I'd be glad to sponsor you. Please know that the next two weeks are really busy with finals for me and I'll be living in Maple Grove for May 8th-June 5th, but then I'll be back in St. Cloud for 13 months.

Shakopee Anyone?

It would be nice to bounce ideas and questions off someone close by...Anyone interested? :stupid:

Hello, I've been a lurker for a while but just dipped my feet into salt for the first time as of 6/11. I'm running an 8 gallon biocube. If theres anyone up this way with any interest in sponsoring me (heck, even just someone to PM with when needed), let me know as I'd love to have some help. Thinking mostly reef, with maybe one small fish in due time after reef is under control.

I work in EP by the mall, and swung by Salt Water Empire last week just to peek, and wow, was that a cool place. I suspect I will become very familiar with them over the next few months...

I'm debating on getting my first coral in the next few days, as my parameters have been stable for a while and looking at rock is really boring me. But I'm wishy washy on what would be the best starter coral for a complete new person such as myself. I'd like to try something fairly hard to kill thats inexpensive for starters...

Sounds like a plan

Ok, so I have realized here that my lack of fish knowledge & husbands 1/2 knowledge of fish is in need of help. We live in Chaska, so if there is anyone willing to adopt a newbie here & skool us, that would be fab.

I think we are going to get another skimmer today & a sump. Anyone have an idea who may be selling one for good price? I believe we need more live rock. On a budget :*) Free all night. Thanks a bunch.
