It's time to jump back in! This will be a very slow build that I hope to have done over the summer. Then I'll be hitting up all the people who I've given frags to over the years. :beerchug:

It will be an AGA 210g RR tank that I picked up from SWE. It will be built in wall, down in the basement. When we built our house, I had a specific area built for the tank. I'll have the guy who did all the finish work come back and make a frame in the wall, as he does top notch work, and, well, the wife says it has to look nice and match the rest of the frame work...

The tank:

The wall (the bar is on the left):

and...behind the scenes

That's it for now...My builder has to come out and do some touch up work, so I'll have him finish the wall and make the walls water proof so no water can leak out into the living room. If that happens, project 210 will go up in smoke.

That will be a sweet tank...I remember the spot. Looks like the house turned out top notch as well.;)

Mmmmmmm utility sink next to tank, heaven. I don't suppose you managed a floor drain in the room as well did you?

I'm jealous. I've found myself thinking of how I would do it now to make it perfect for the next tank. Are you going to have some type of dedicated QT + dip system?

The back room is still getting finished. Then, I'll probably start to work on getting the tank in position. Will have the wall framed in the next few weeks--including a port hole so you can see it if you're sitting at the bar. If I have water in this in the next couple months, I'll feel like I've accomplished something. :)

Well, I'm right on schedule! Started to do some work today. The room is now finished, and I'm cutting some holes for the tank drains. The only problem I see is the edges of the tank will be off the stand by 1/4" on each side. Do you think this will be a problem? If so, then I think I need to run to menards and get a new bottom for the tank. That would kinda suck, but better safe than sorry.

Also working on trying to water proof the room so if there ever comes a time that water gets spilled, it all stays in the fish room. I suspect if it leaked out into the living room, that it would be the end of the fish tank. :)

Assuming your tank has a bottom frame I would probable say you would want it supported all the way to the edge.

Good to see your finally getting to work. If you hurry maybe you, Troy, and I can all frag hunt at the same time again. Unless your doing something other than fuzzy sticks.

I'm about a month away from bringing home livestock. What kind of timeframe you looking at?

PS if you need a hand with anything I usually have four days a week open... Thurs-Sunday. Feel free to give me a shout.
