Never used those but I use the Mr.Clean magic eraser ones (the regular ones!!).
They work like a charm. Does an amazing job on wiping the glass clean and get rid of algae...

+1 love them. Generic work fine too.

I have been using the small 2 3/4" X 4 1/4" Dobi pads for years. I have also used some of the Dobie covering material to replace the abrasive side of a cleaning magnet. That seemed to work better for cleaning fresh water tanks.

+1magic eraser. Dollar store has generic that work just as good.
