btw - what happend too all the live rock and SW livestock ? Did it get sold off to a zoo or something?

I think murray gobbled up some of it.

simply amazing, i love the picture where you can see the whole tank and surrounding area. Do you have any pictures like that when it was salt?

That is crazy sweet. I wish i could have seen pics when of the whole room when is was saltwater.

He was tank of the month on reefkeeping. Dont exactly remember when but you could find that thread and find alot of pictures.

This looks awesome! I never really considered the electric demands of a reed tank. Does anyone have some averages? haha I know it'd vary considerably...

Greatly depends on the size of tank your running and equipment. Some pumps cost $80 or more a month just to run... Some tanks might cost you $20 a month and some $1000's...

well if I had an actual "reed" tank. I wish this had a spell check haha I've read on pumps the watts they consume, but none of it means much to me $ wise. I guess I'll find out soon enough. I hope my roommates don't get miffed ;) :greenguy:

You will be fine. Just make sure to watch what wattage your pumps and everything is. What size tank you setting up?

Stan that tour was breathtaking!!!!!!

Seriously, it is better than a saltwater setup... I like it better than Amano's personal tank because it is a vivarium and the land element is awesome.

The updated tank now is perfect with the hollow pieces so the tank is fully utilized. Awesome livestock... my personal favorites were the golden gar pair, poisonous dart frogs, mudskippers, and rays. The platinum cat pretty sick too.

I am hoping those marble crays self clone in your tank!!!

Have you thought of adding floater plants? Like salvinia, frogsbit, or dwarf water lettuce? Could be a nice look, be food, provide cover, cleans water, draws insects. Or Celestial Pearl Danios? Mini salmon would look amazing/possibly breed in your tank.

It was nice having you over. Do you have those celestial pearl danios for sale? I was thinking about getting a few and trying them out.

I'm selling (juvenile to young adult size) cpds for 4$ ready for breeding (proven breeders).

I was going to hold alot for my bro Tendo, but I can hook you up. How many you looking for?

this thread makes me want to go back to freshwater haha

beautiful tank, i absolutely love it. wish that i could come see it sometime. very interested in the build

I loved my planted freshwater 120 too. I do have a 46g bow front hmmmmm... I vote he host a meeting even though it's not saltwater. I'm sure everyone here would love to see this monster! I had a Motoro Stingray and a Caecilian worm (leg less amphibian) that were the stars of that tank!
How about one of these? I sold it to Mike at Wet World when I took the tank down.
