Forgot to add that I use an octo extreme 300 on my tank. I like the skimmer but the pumps that came with sucks when it comes to restarting and I am going to change them out for 2 bubble blasters.

Ken - I am planning to keep my skimmer and try if that works good. If not then will change it to the one you suggested.

About controller, I am still thinking, which one to go for? Would you suggest any ?

I'd suggest just one pump. two is redundant yes, but a larger draw electrically.

Are you a low flow or high flow kinda guy?

New Tank arrived at DA yesterday. if everything looks good then will be home by Sunday.

I have decide to go for Aqueon Proflex Sump Model4

still confused in controler and not able to decide. Decided to go with 200 pounds instead of 300 pounds.

Ray - I understand your concern but in that window we have only 35 min of direct sun. Blinds are closed all the time so not much sunlight.

I was using my old setup at the same place for 5 months.

Ya...180 was not corner flow, so after paying little extra $ upgraded to 220g with corner flow.

I have already bought the sump. should be here by wednesday. I tried to get 40 breeder before but couldn't find it so bought it.

just be sure to take the plastic off the reflectors if you go with halides. Once you fire them, it melts. Smells very much bad so I am told.

Both AGA and perfecto make them HOWEVER there is a massive sale going on with both companies. Just so happens that sales does not include the 180 cover overflows but Perfecto does have the 220 corner overflow on sale.
