Like I said I'm all about the road trip. Just no middle of the night, half lit, during a snowstorm to Chicago:nuts:

And you just keep collecting. Half my work will be done for me:beerchug:

[I need to find an oregon tort and a good cali tort. want those 2 back so those will be on my road trip list unless I find them here:biggrin:

I'll be putting a 400 watt radium over a bunch of little nubs tonight to start kicking in some growth;)

Assuming your tank has a bottom frame I would probable say you would want it supported all the way to the edge.

Good to see your finally getting to work. If you hurry maybe you, Troy, and I can all frag hunt at the same time again. Unless your doing something other than fuzzy sticks.

I'm about a month away from bringing home livestock. What kind of timeframe you looking at?

PS if you need a hand with anything I usually have four days a week open... Thurs-Sunday. Feel free to give me a shout.
Thanks for the offer!

At the rate I'm going, if I get water in it before the snow melts, I'll be pretty happy.

Made some progress today. Built a stand for the 30b that'll be a frag/QT eventually. Also made an addition to the stand so the tank will fully sit on a support structure.

Did more room prep as well. The walls have been finished, and I put down some silicone in an attempt to make the room waterproof (or, at least to have the water stay in the room and go down the floor drain). :)

No.

You'll have to come over and see it yourself. :)

About time! haven't you been setting up a tank for 4 years now? Those pics look alot like Fritzs basement:gay1: As soon as you get it running it's my turn to take a break:beerchug:

Have you made a fish list? Should be a fun tank!

Do you think it'll be done before the light rail going through U of MN? :gay1:

No.

Sounds fine to me. I can bring your contraband rum. I bought a couple bottles of rum from Haiti a couple weeks ago on a layover in Guatemala, maybe I'll bring that too.

Hmmm....I better take my sweet time, or offer to baby sit some frags for you. :beerchug:

Clowns for sure, probably a powder blue. Not sure about what else....

It'll probably be neck and neck with the light rail.

I heard the light rail is going to take 5 years to complete! I hope to be done by then.

Was hoping to get my dock in today, but the weather sucked, so I did some work inside this weekend. Acid washed some rocks, got the RO/DI working, hung the lights over the QT, and now have some dead LR in the QT with it all plumbed up. Even after the acid wash, the skimmer is already pulling stuff out.

Anyone have a small piece of LR that I could use to seed my tank?

Now, I'll probably start getting the wall ready for the tank, and then start plumbing things up on the 210. :beerchug:

I've got some sponged up rocks in my sump, you are welcome to that and/or some coralline shavings...

Went through the diatom bloom, and now notice algae. Looks like it may be bryopsis. I bought a few snails (actually, about 50 for $1.39) to see if they can do anything to help. If it looks like this is bryopsis, I may try the Mg treatment. If that doesn't work, then I guess I'll break down and start over.

Oh yeah, one of these days I'll get around to uploading pics. l o l
