Wanted to share some pics of my 3 gallon pico.
Taken with a Nikon D3100 with a macro lens, and tripod. Lighting is a pc 50/50 bulb and 4 moon light leds.

Thinking of adding another pc bulb, Ive noticed a lot of the biocubes Ive been looking at have 2 pc bulbs. Not sure if it would make a difference on my tank. But I noticed some of the corals seem to be stretched out. reaching for light.

No, your pictures aren't bad. I think everyone is just on a well deserved break after frag swap season madness lol.

Its lookin good, I have a 4gallon finnex pico that i've been dying to set up, just haven't gotten there yet!

Keep us updated!

Sorry for crying. Thanks for the kind words. Added another 50/50 pc screw in bulb today. Looks nice. I will have to see if it makes any difference to the corals.

Looking good.why don't you go with led's?

This tank was only purchased to hold me over until I move to a bigger house and can do a big tank again. Also I have about 30$ invested into these lights and I would assume Led's would be a lot more. I considered doing diy, I don't have the time or the technology to learn any of the lingo for them. I'm not going to do sps and the lps seem to be happy under the pc's.

i like it..... is running hard?

No. I stopped being lazy and went back to weekly water changes, and daily top off. Algae is gone, and corals are thriving. Thinking of doing the filter mods and adding a fuge to help with a bio load of a fish. Really want to get a pom pom crab also. My clean up crew consist of a bunch of baby snails born from an old snail that died, and 2 tiny star fish hitchhikers.
