I'm making a few assumptions here. Like since I caught larvae, i assume that a spawn & hatch happened though I didn't witness it. The larvae do not look like L.ambionesis (cleaner shrimp) and the only other crustacean I have is a single sexy shrimp. All my hermits are blue legs and the larvae look like hermit larvae photographed in others' threads.

Nice going Kate. You are just rocking with the breeding. The saying at TCMAS is going to be:

Don't come a knocking when Kate's reef tank is rocking. :gay1:

go through your hermits and pick out the females holding eggs. just move them to a hatching tank and wait.

maximum numbers of larvae.

Also, what do you think of hermit shells made by 3D printing? color coded shells in a range of sizes for grow out purposes.

I've been thinking about hermits for awhile, haha

Chad I thought of you as soon as I figured out these were hermits. LOL! Chad the hermit guy :gay1: I have a lot of research to do to succeed with these guys. I'm not sure I can fit them in. I gotta figure out why I'm killing clownfish larvae first and since I have parvocalanus copepods going I was going to try breeding a wrasse
