Hey derek what do you need help with ? I see your cycling your tank, do you have any fish yet ?

I have a 4 stripe Damsel you can have once your tank cycles if you want to throw something in there to get things going .

And once your up and running with the fish you want, you can keep it, or give it back whichever ..

I live in North St Paul so I don't think I'm too far from you either, just down McKnight . . .

Anytime you have questions feel free to shoot me a PM. Always willing to help.

I wouldn't mind having somebody stop by my place to check out my setup and give me a few pointers. I'm just now getting ready to start stocking, so I'd like to know what I'm doing right/wrong now versus getting knee deep into it and finding out I should have done something differently. I live in Burnsville for those close by. Thanks!

email me @ nate@tcmas.org i might be in the area tomorrow for work its easier to email me so i can keep the conversions straight. thanks nate also if you have any questions dont be afraid to ask.

Hey everyone i am looking for help on setting up my 75g reef ready aquarium this is my first experience with a saltwater tank so if someone could help me that lives in the Winona area please let me know! Thanks Garrett

A little overwhelmed here with the entire salt world, trying to figure out a good sump set up for empty 30 gallon tank.

and trying to figure out what room would work best housing extra fresh, r/o, n salt water reserve tanks.

It's cool to see my post from 2008 here on the first page, I never really got a mentor (back in 2008 my "mentor" droped out). However this time around maybe some one can come over and help me with Drilling/Aquascaping my rock?

New Guy from Waconia

Hey everyone,

I just started up a 20 gallon saltwater tank and wouldn't mind a few pointers. After a while I feel like there's only so much I can absorb from a book or the internet. I'm looking to do a couple upgrades here soon, specifically lighting for a couple a small reef system.

Kind of funny story, I was referred here by a girl that spoke highly of TCMAS group. I talked to her at the PETCO in Minnetonka for probably 30-45 minutes. She seemed knowledgable and I believe she said her dad was a member of the group as well. Anybody know her handle on here? Or an email perhaps? I think she goes to Wisconsin-Stout, at least thats what her lanyard said.

Not tryin to get a date, just should of got her contact information when I talked to her and it slipped my mind. Now I'm wishing I had a go-to mentor for all my tank questions.

Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to TCMAS! Where there is Beer abound!
