Good deal! I was just going to say that if you did go with a new one having really high flow through your sump isn't really necessary. I usually shoot for 4x per hour turnover, so for a 65 gallon tank 300gph after head loss is plenty.

On friday night the hood on my tank slid off, it shattered most of the bulbs, threw glass inside the tank, scratched the stand and busted a ballast.

I think I will lose it and just get a new fixture. Any thoughts on a decent 6 bulb 36 inch?

sooo... its been a while, here are a couple updates:

• I am trying to understand how to deal with propagation. My Cyphastrea is spreading and taking over zoa space and shrooms are growing out of control
• Got a new anemone and clowns finally hosted, but its moving over my starry night palys
• New tek fixture is working great
• Need to update my apex, anyone wants to come over and show me how over beers?
• Ive been skimerless for the last few months
• Seriously considering getting an RODI from BRS
• Oj the clown is getting old
• Thinking on adding a yellow tang
• Also considering on maybe doing family photography on the side

Thats that for now, here are some pix

• Giana is 19 months now. Caring for her and the tank can be challenging, but I am trying my best
