Hi everyone, I have an Eshopps in Sump Cone Skimmer 120 and this morning I discovered it is leaking....well, not leaking, more like a steady stream of water coming out the seem of where the two halves of the cone meet. Can I patch this up with something? I feel like I shouldn't have to replace it as some foam is still making it to the top at the moment. I am sure it would be more effective if all of the foam made it to the top though. Thanks

I would repair it with a thickened acrylic glue like Weldon 16. That will solvent weld the pieces together (I'm assuming that they are acrylic). Epoxy could leak and probably wouldn't look as good.

Thanks, where could I pick that up and how long 'till I could put it back in the tank? (talking about the glue)

Any acrylic shop will carry #16. Saltwater empire carries it as well if there isn't an acrylic shop closer to you.

Like most things I'd wait 24 hours before putting back to use.

Great thank you! Hopefully I can run out this evening to get some....if not, it is not an emergency as it is still doing some filtration.
