Try using a glob of super glue on the base and the rock your placing it on and then hold it in place till it there till it sticks. Tank looks better too!

IMO since you only have a test kit for alk, only dose alk as needed. Please invest in Mag. and Cal. though, with SPS especially you'll want them to keep them happy.

Thanks for the idea. For now I was able to find the perfect positioning so that it stays balanced. Hopefully it is as fast a grower as you said it was, because I need it to just encrust to the rock fast!

I agree, the tank looks sooo much better!

Got an Aqua C Remora skimmer from TomandJerry last night and hooked it up. Got a little jolt when I tried to unplug one of the pumps. For some reason the it got slightly wet.

I have take out the canister filter and put a MaxiJet to supplement water flow. Although it was too strong and was forced to put a wavemaker in it. So now it protrudes like 5" into the tank.

All the coals are doing well, and the rainbow ricordia morph is growing!

Will get pictures up when I get home.

keep an eye out for the nano-koralias. They'd be great for your tank and have a pretty tiny footprint. I think you'll love the aqua-c, but definitely take the time (~5min) to add a baffle to quiet it down.

Thanks, I do have a pico-Koralia in there that's meh but I think a Nano pump would be more suiting.

The person I bought this from already created a makeshift baffle, so that is taken care of :)

The first week it was running, foam was coming out the top! This thing definitely cleans efficiently...

5-star rating for me

I don't know why but my coloring seems to be very brown for a lot of the corals. Kind of a bummer

But I'm still lovin all these corals! Oh and there are 2 SPS missing and they were moved into my 55g cause it was a little too packed with SPS in here. :gay2:

be careful with these... im assuming these are the tiny little blue polyps... these will take over no matter where u place them... they either reproduce by sending little polyps into the water colum or will spawn often... i had a tiny little frag on a plug in the sandbed... a month later i had them in my fuge.

tanks is looking much better bubbaganush

Thanks for the heads up, I believe cliff warned me about that too. If I notice it spreading too much then I'll get rid of it.

Looking good, keep up the maint. and it will get better in time. SPS may take a while to color back up from being moved or stressed. Yes, like i told you cloves can/will spread!

Does anyone have care requirements for the Green Lobed Cactus Coral? It looks like it is receding (I can see the skeleton) and I'm not sure why. Everything else aside from the flame algae are doing great.

dang I was hoping for an awesome mangrove build

Mangrove attempt #2 is commencing. Will update with pictures soon, I realize my naive mistakes and will start with just one this time and make sure it survives. I am currently planning on a Bluestripe Pipefish pair and HOPEFULLY I will get the job at Pahl's Market and if I do this is going to run a lot faster. Also my parents bumped my allowance which will help immensely.

Actually I just realized I haven't even mentioned.....

Corals are all out except for a few frags on a custom made frag rack.

Got 3 new rocks when I was in Florida.

Got a Refugium Starter pack that came with Ulva and Red Gracillaria and also got Caulerpa Prolifera, only the Ulva is still alive....

Mangroves will be coming up soon. Hopefully I can find someone locally to get one from.
