New Water System (1 Viewer)

washer area is gonna be the mounting location but only 1 side has a stud, but will be using a heavy duty screw with an anchor as well.

#3 Looks to be ready to go except the drain part. It's quite evident that previous tenant It's all just standard pvc plumbing down there and would only be a few bucks to replace it when you leave.

Which location is closer to the tank ? that's probably the one I'd choose if all other things were equal.

If you have room to store the reservoir in your laundry room that would be a real plus for that location. Being under the sink your probably not going to want a 30g bucket sitting there all the time and have to wheel it around.

So I got my Y connector, hooked it up, turned water back on and main faucet started to leak, tried to tighten center screw and that did not work, took off Y connector hid it and then told landlord my faucet is leaking bad, all else fails I can hook it to my kitchen sink and put it away till I need it next time, plus their will be no holes in drywall to fix,lol

Also gonna have to wheel it around, due to no room in laundry room.

My guess is that the big nut where the shaft goes through the valve is loose and just needs to be tightened. I think its a 9/16". I have to tighten mine if I ever shut off the water.

yup packing nut is loose. tighten it up and it should stop leaking.

Good to go, packing nut is tightened down and now no leaks, installation can continue for water system.

Glad to hear your leak issue was fixed. As soon as I read the post I figured that was the problem.

yes I did, but now my problem is water psi, it's only 38 so I am gonna have to wait for a week and then get a booster, once I have that I will make water, til then I am not gonna damage my equipment.and that splitter comes in the parts bag with the ro/di unit, but thanks though.
