Well that is a good question, that I don't believe anyone knows the answer to yet. This will be most likely the last shipment for me coming in. For Fishstreet I would have no idea how that all works but I am guessing they will not be shipped to the US anymore once the "stuff" hits the fan!
 
UPDATE EVEYONE PLZ READ!!

Hello everyone,

We we have received a letter for a patent violation on the Jebao pumps and their design. Everyone at this time in the US has been ordered to cease and desist all sales and orders on the Jebao pumps including the import into the US.

So what does this mean for our GB?

Well the GB is officially over as of today, and no new orders will be allowed. We will attempt to fulfill the orders for the pumps as we have the pumps on order. If for some reason the pumps do not arrive to us, we will then have to issue refunds for everyone that purchased the pumps. We will do everything we can to fulfill the orders that everyone has placed, however any orders placed after 5/22/13 will be canceled and refunded.

The pumps have already been removed from our site.

As stated above we will issue refunds to everyone if for some reason we are not able to get the pumps in. We should know more on that hopefully by the end of the week.

Whose patent did they infringe on??? To me they look like a standard power head with a basic controller. Do you suppose one of the other pump companies is doing this(whether it's a legitimate complaint or not) just to keep these pumps from hurting their sales while it's all tied up in litigation? I really don't know too much about this sort of thing and would be curious to find out more info... Thanks for posting Garrett.
 
CRUD! Anyone want to sell me their old pump, LOL!? I hope those of us who have ordered prior to this will be able to get our pumps. I really had high hopes for these pumps becoming a cheap alternative to the expensive ones. Thanks Chad for keeping us in the loop on this.
 
"Beep beep" I was just going to call you for some info before ordering. That sucks, I'll have to find something else to squeeze into the sides.
 
That sucks... Glad I got mine on first GB ill take high bidders for a brand new rare jebao wp40... Lmao... Just kidding
 
GLARGH! I hope we get them. Are they being seized at customs? Have they even gotten to customs?
 
From reading on other forums, the order should be fine.

Not really sure what is going on with Tunze and Jebao, however I would rather be safe then sorry as they did send me the patent information and documents.

As for the GB we should be still receiving them, and I will keep everyone updated on what I hear. I will do everything I can to get the shipment in for the orders that need to be fulfilled. However I will not sell any additional units beyond that for legal reasons just in case.

FishStreet obviously will sell them until they can't or are forced to stop since they are a China company. I have heard rumors of them being stopped or may be stopped in customs, however that is just rumor I believe at this point.

No matter what the outcome at this time I will not sell any Jebao pumps or future sales of them until everything settles down or gets figured out.
 
Well ETA was to be the end of the month, however I believe most likely will be around the first week or beginning of second week on the pumps.
