must be an airstone for being that small of a skimmer, love the use of the pee cup.

Possible but I don't see an air pump line or anything...

They Octopus NS80 uses a needlewheel pump which is just insane small... I couldn't believe it till i seen it.
 
How do you tune that skimmer?

Same way the nano tunze skimmer is tuned. It's attached to the back of the tank with a magnet and I move it up or down. The lower the skimmer is in the water, the wetter it skims. The higher the drier. :)

Thanks! It's two pieces of Tonga shelf, 1 piece of Tonga branch, and a piece of reef saver. The reef saver I positioned so there's a little cave at sand bed level right in the from of the tank. I'm hoping my planned whitecap goby and pistol shrimp take up residence there!
 
How did you secure the maxi-jet thing to the collection cup? (To keep it from leaking)

Is the bottom of the bottle cut off?
