THANK YOU! I was searching all over the forums to find the thread again, this is what I was initially planning. I'll let you know once I got the money to spend on this.
If you have any of those S. maculatus left we could work out a trade including some of the other stuff to make a fixture.

Well this sucks.... my HoB filter died on me and I don't have my next pay check for 2 weeks. Can I just take the corals out and let the tank just sit there for 2 weeks?

As long as you have circulation, you will be fine without that filter.

K, little update.

LEDs are still a work in progress as I am in the process of learning how to solder first.

Got a piece of LR from A Wet Pet, straight out of the box they receive them in. Along with that I nabbed a sweet red mantis shrimp which I have been wanting to get for a while. Although I'm assuming when I put on the LEDs it will morph to the usual green which is ok by me. This does mean I will most likely have to upgrade it to a 10g or 20g in the future but I'm perfectly fine with that cause(at least with the 10g) it won't change my usual taks except a few more 15 ft walks to the bathroom to dump water.

Barely managed to fit the LR in there....

You can see his eyes between those 2 rocks. Watching him move is captivating.

I was in there today as well, saw the red mantis and was tempted to do a little species only tank, but I'm glad you ended up with him. Should be an awesome nano tank resident, and highly entertaining when fed I'm sure.

I ended up swinging back when the rock was unpacked and sprung for the little piece w/ 3 Manicina areolata. Looks like my breeding project was a very minor success, so I wanted more broodstock.

Thanks, ya I guess I missed that piece cause the box I looked at didn't have any of those guys. Hope you keep that little project udated though :)
Mantis shrimp don't like bright light they get shell rot. The one I used to have was very smart.

Good to know. Maybe I'll just use the actinics on those smd LEDs then.
