I am currently trying to find past threads to post here to help anyone coming to the Expo

Looking for threads that address what you should bring etc for keeping your purchased LS safe

Also any other recommendations for the Swap/Expo

Mine is bring lots of change - most of our vendors don't have a lot of cash change. Some can accept cards but please bring cash for those that do not.

Bring something to eat/drink if you plan on staying all day without leaving. There is no food onsite other than chips/soda etc if Lockwood Sales brings chips/soda - which is not a guarantee. You can always order a pizza for delivery I suppose.

Be sure to visit the TCMAS raffle table. It is in the back left corner in a room off the main room. You can buy raffle tickets for $1.00 each or 25 for $20.00. You do not have to be present to win but your ticket does. If you have to leave before the raffle- find someone to hold your tickets for you and bring home your winnings , if any.

We will have hourly door prize drawings - only way to get in on them is to buy some raffle tickets - dont miss out!!!

Prob not necessary but I do it out of habit but buy a coral dip to dip your fresh frags in if you dont have one. Never hurts to make sure your frags are pest free of everything. Melafix/coral revive/coral rx are all good dips.

Raffle prize???

Any suggestions on where to get a styrofoam cooler? I am not talking about the ones from the gas stations that are skinny and tall. Does anyone know where I can get a shorter, wider one so I will not have to stack stuff on top of each other?

They are quite expensive (like $50) but you can get them from Uline.

If you want to go the cheap DIY route:

1. Get a carboard box of suitable sized
2. Cut out styrofoam sheets that make a box that will fit in the cardboard. Kinda like http://www.homedepot.com/p/CelloFoam-3-4-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-Polystyrene-Foam-Insulation-Board-PF012-216-768PG/100320366
3. Line it with a plastic bag to keep any water from leaking.

Voila!

Yeah, starting to wonder if I should just cancel all my orders and build a glass house under water on the Great Barrier Reef... probably be cheaper.

Stop at pet smart or petco, normally they have a few from big shipments, maybe they'd let you buy one

Excellent idea! I know my local Petco gets their deliveries on Thursdays so I will see if that will work.

I can carry a few in my cooler for you too.... if they get mixed up we will just divide them up equally... one for you, one for me, and that ones mine, mine... mine...
