Thanks for the look, Jon. Really enjoy seeing tank pics rather than macro shots.

Looks great.

Love the fish collection Jonty. The Blotched, Flame, Joculator, Pintail, Rhomboid, White Tail... just so many cool fish.

The corals are great as well. The top left side looks really cool all filled in.

I was able to make a brief visit to Jon's place as he's wanting to finish off his in-wall tank and stand with a surround.
Jon wasn't there with us to discuss the details, so I took my needed dimensions and a few pictures for reference. And since I had my camera, I just had to take some photos of his coral collection and some of his beautiful fish.
I wish I could've spent more time there taking more photos. The Joculator pair and the Pintail Fairy Wrasse were difficult to get photos of; the fish knew their secret paths through the rock work and used those to their advantage. And in trying to shoot those fish, I forgot to get photos of his nice colonies of Red Dragon, Oregon Tort, Rose Mille, other SPS colonies and the LPS corals.

I really like these last pics.
The foxface and copperband were hiding for almost the entire time, but together they felt it was okay to see what was going on.

Thanks Jon.

Thanks Jason for posting the pictures and taking the time to come out, I really appreciate it.

I am changing some equipment and adding some new, I an automatic toilet roll dispenser from BRS and opened it up and the power supply is two pin and the plug is a single pin well done BRS I bet everyone has the wrong power supply LOL. It will be interesting to see it they can get me the right one quickly.

I am also changing pumps to the red dragon speedy3 230watt units with Apex integration.
A DaStaco XtremA Model A-2 Calcium Reactor coming next week which should be fun.

I wanted to go to the Red Dragon skimmer pumps but they only pump 2500L/Hr of Air and I need 3600L/Hr just to match the current pump and would actually like to get closer to 4000L/HR.

In BRS latest video it talked about euro fitment for the plumbing on the auto toilet paper filter thinger and it took some redrilling of holes to make it work for their set up.

Edit I though you had a euro plug but just looks like they sent the wrong one huh

I see a nice lab grade peristaltic pump in the background. Whatcha using that for?

Man, I've been looking for one of those. Something lower than the $$$ price tag I see online. Where did you get yours?

Ebay, It was not cheap

Figured I'd be paying those prices. No biggie. Are you using the Aquarium Plants CO2 regulator as well?

Doesn't surprise me. I figured if anyone would get the toilet paper roller it would be Jonty, the resident automation junkie.

I wonder if that thing could be retrofitted to be an American bidet. Stick it next to the toilet, waddle over and spread the cheeks after the deed. Maybe have multiple speeds for....'tank' size.

I've not read the specs on this model but in general it's an automated mechanical filter system. The water and particulate matter flow across the white filter element which is continually (slowly) replenished with new media (rolls off one onto the disposal roller). Theory is the particulate matter never breaks down like traditional mechanical media (filter socks) because it's actually removed from the system by rolling onto the disposal roller before breaking down. Neat trick because you can bypass the whole nitrogen process because the waste is directly removed.
